What the material is used for
Across Asia-Pacific.
Australia. Road, rail, mining and large-scale civil works make geotextile the main grade for Australian buyers, who also use industrial felt for processing.
Bangladesh. River, road and embankment works in Bangladesh use geotextile and its garment and footwear sector uses nonwoven components, with cargo arriving by sea at Chattogram or Mongla, or overland from India.
Japan. Japanese buyers are exacting on specification and consistency, so the conversation usually starts with a written specification and a sample for approval.
Nepal. Nepal is landlocked, so cargo from India moves overland, or by sea to Kolkata and then onward by road, which makes roll size and packing matter for the journey.
New Zealand. Civil, roading, drainage and landscape works use geotextile in New Zealand, often in smaller consignments that benefit from combining grades.
South Korea. Automotive and industrial manufacturing in South Korea use nonwoven felt for trim, acoustic and filtration work, against a specification set by the end customer.
Sri Lanka. Civil works and a large apparel and footwear sector in Sri Lanka use geotextile and nonwoven components, with sea cargo normally arriving at Colombo.

Asia-Pacific: what buyers ask us first
Which ports in Asia-Pacific do you ship to?
We coordinate shipment to your port of choice. The ports buyers in Asia-Pacific most often use are listed above, destination by destination. Tell us yours with the enquiry and we will confirm how the order ships.
Which countries in Asia-Pacific do you supply?
Australia, Bangladesh, Japan, Nepal, New Zealand, South Korea and Sri Lanka. If your country is not listed, send the enquiry anyway — the material and the process are the same, and the destination mainly affects packing and paperwork.
What do buyers in Asia-Pacific settle first?
It varies by destination — the table above sets out what each one usually asks about. Across the region it comes down to the specification, the paperwork your customs broker needs, and consistency from one shipment to the next.
What is the minimum order quantity?
It is agreed per order, as it depends on the material, GSM and how much is customised. Tell us the product and quantity you need and our export team will confirm it with your quote.
How soon is an order dispatched?
Usually 4–5 days from order confirmation to dispatch from Jaipur. Sea transit to your port comes on top of that and depends on the route and sailing.
Can you match a nonwoven we already buy?
Yes. Send the specification, or a sample if you have one, and we will quote against it. Fibre, GSM, thickness, width and colour can all be set to match.
Can we see a sample before ordering?
Yes, samples are free, to Asia-Pacific as anywhere else; delivery time depends on where you are. Test the material in your own process before a bulk order.
