Europe

Nonwoven felt supplier from India for European importers.

Needle punched and thermal bonded nonwoven felt and geotextile, 100–1200 GSM, made to your specification and shipped from India to 10 markets across Europe.

We supply from one place: our manufacturing partner, Miracle Nonwoven Industries, in Phagi, Jaipur. You agree the specification with us, approve a sample, and the order is produced and shipped against it, so a question about the material is answered by the people who make it.

What the material is used for

Across Europe.

Denmark. Danish buyers source geotextile for drainage, landscaping and civil works, and nonwoven felt for industrial and packaging uses, usually in mixed orders.

France. French buyers purchase nonwovens for automotive interiors, civil and drainage works, and apparel and footwear components, usually with French-language product information.

Germany. With a large automotive and industrial base, German buyers tend to specify exactly: fibre, GSM, thickness and tolerance written down before a sample is made.

Italy. Footwear, leather goods, apparel and automotive trim all use nonwoven in Italy, so buyers focus on hand-feel, finish and consistency between lots.

Netherlands. Water management, dykes, drainage and ground works make geotextile a core grade in the Netherlands, and Rotterdam also serves buyers who redistribute across Europe.

Norway. Road, tunnel, rail and coastal works in demanding terrain make geotextile the grade Norwegian buyers ask about first, followed by industrial felt.

Poland. Poland has a large automotive supply base and active road and infrastructure building, so buyers look at automotive felt, geotextile and apparel nonwoven.

Spain. Spain has an established footwear and apparel industry and large civil and landscaping works, so buyers ask for shoe-lining nonwoven as well as geotextile.

Sweden. Swedish buyers use nonwoven for industrial processing, filtration and civil ground works in cold-climate conditions, and expect a written specification.

United Kingdom. UK buyers source nonwovens for civil and drainage works, automotive and acoustic felt, and industrial processing, generally against a written specification.

Buying for European projects and plants.

Standards and test values. European civil-engineering contracts usually name the geotextile standard and the values it must meet. The EN 13249 to EN 13257 series covers geotextiles part by part, by application: roads, railways, earthworks, drainage, erosion control, reservoirs, canals, tunnels and landfill. Confirm with your engineer which part applies and which test values and conformity paperwork the contract asks for, and tell us before production. We cannot quote a figure from a test nobody has run on the material you are buying; see how to test a nonwoven felt sample and export documents.

UK and EU are separate markets. Conformity requirements and paperwork can differ between the United Kingdom and the EU. Say which one the goods are for when you enquire, so the documents match the destination.

Cold ground. In Nordic and Alpine projects a spring thaw leaves a soft, wet subgrade, which is where a separation layer earns its place. The GSM follows the fill and the traffic above it; see geotextile GSM for road construction.

Component makers. Automotive, footwear and industrial buyers in Germany, Poland, Italy and Spain typically write down fibre, GSM, thickness tolerance and colour, and approve a sample before an order. Agree the tolerance in writing before production, as set out in the sample guide, and read how weight and thickness relate in GSM in nonwoven fabric.

Europe: what buyers ask us first

Which ports in Europe do you ship to?

We coordinate shipment to your port of choice. The ports buyers in Europe most often use are listed above, destination by destination. Tell us yours with the enquiry and we will confirm how the order ships.

Which countries in Europe do you supply?

Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom. If your country is not listed, send the enquiry anyway — the material and the process are the same, and the destination mainly affects packing and paperwork.

What do buyers in Europe settle first?

It varies by destination — the table above sets out what each one usually asks about. Across the region it comes down to the specification, the paperwork your customs broker needs, and consistency from one shipment to the next.

Which standard do European geotextile tenders refer to?

Usually the EN 13249 to EN 13257 series, one part for each application such as roads, railways, drainage or landfill. Confirm the part and the current edition with your project engineer, and send us the values the contract requires.

Is the paperwork the same for the UK and the EU?

Not necessarily. Requirements can differ, so tell us the destination country when you enquire and which documents your customs broker or the contract asks for.

Can you hold a tight tolerance on GSM and thickness?

No nonwoven is identical from roll to roll, so agree the tolerance you will accept in numbers before production and approve a sample as the reference. Tell us the tolerance your process needs and we will confirm what can be supplied.

What is the minimum order quantity?

It is agreed per order, as it depends on the material, GSM and how much is customised. Tell us the product and quantity you need and our export team will confirm it with your quote.

How soon is an order dispatched?

Usually 4–5 days from order confirmation to dispatch from Jaipur. Sea transit to your port comes on top of that and depends on the route and sailing.

Can you match a nonwoven we already buy?

Yes. Send the specification, or a sample if you have one, and we will quote against it. Fibre, GSM, thickness, width and colour can all be set to match.

Can we see a sample before ordering?

Yes, samples are free, to Europe as anywhere else; delivery time depends on where you are. Test the material in your own process before a bulk order.
